Highley Community Primary School

Let’s all make mistakes in our endeavour to learn!

Welcome to Netherton’s Class Page!

I would like to welcome all of you to our new class page! On this page, you will be able to find out what we have been getting up to and learning in Netherton class.

This term we are taking our imaginary train all the way to London and our time machine back to 1600 London! We will learn all about the important landmarks, the Royal family and get to know all about Dick Whittington and his rat catching cat.

We will look at the ‘Great fire of London’ and investigate where it started and why it was so difficult to stop the fire! We will use the Great fire of London as inspiration for our art work.

The partnership between the school and home is what enables our children to grow as learners and as people. With your continued support, our children will thrive and become confident and independent individuals with the love for learning and the aspiration to do well.

Thank you for your continued support!
